So why bother?

At a recent wedding someone came up to me and said 'Oh my god, you're such an inspiration I gave up sugar because of you' and I smiled and nodded and blushed and thought to myself, um that's lovely but I never gave up sugar

Someone else started Intermittant fasting because of me, someone else gave up carbs.

So here's the thing.

It's very flattering to inspire someone if what they've been inspired to do is something you actually do, or even believe in. There are a million different ways to lose weight doing the rounds out there.

99% of them are utter bullshit.

I repeat, I'm not here to tell you to lose weight.

Even more importantly I'm definitely not here to tell you how to lose weight. I'm not a nutritionist, I'm just a 43 year old woman who has spent the guts of the last two years relearning how to eat from an evident based Nutritionist who has quite literally turned my life around. I can only share an outline of what works for me but be prepared, it goes way beyond food.


What this blog is not about...

- me telling anyone what to do with their lives.
 I'm going to be honest here, I care about myself and my three kids. I have no time, and no interest in trying to persuade anyone else to do anything. If you've an interest in what I do and think it might be something you enjoy, then great.

- me defending my lifestyle
Again, you be you, I'll be me. If this is the kind of thing that drives you mad, don't engage. Even if I notice, I won't care. We can still be friends.
